The IS recalls a knife attack in Hamburg, where a young person was killed.
The authorities are now wondering how seriously this hint is to be taken. Hamburg's police warns of speculation.
The message, spread in English and Arabic, contains only vague information and no perpetrators' knowledge.

For two weeks, this mysterious murder of the Alster is already back, there suddenly appears a message on the weekend. A "soldier of the Islamic state" stabbed two people in Hamburg on 16 October, according to a message from Amaq, the Internet language tube of the Terrormiliz IS, which became known on the night of Sunday. The man had the attack "in response to the calls to attack citizens of the coalition countries". In fact, that evening a man had been stabbed. A 16-year-old student from Hamburg was attacked by an unknown culprit with a knife under the Kennedy bridge in the center of the Hansestadt. In the hospital he succumbed to his punches. His 15-year-old companion was pushed into the water, but remained otherwise uninjured.
Otherwise, the triumphal message of the IS follows rapidly, this time it lasted two weeks
Now the authorities are wondering how seriously this hint is to be taken. Was this actually the first murder of the IS in Germany? In the case of the IS assassinations in Würzburg and Ansbach, all victims had been released alive from the hospitals. The authorities had intervened in the assassination plan of the Syrian Jaber al-Bakr, who lived in Chemnitz. It was only in this Hamburg case that it would be different. Would. Is it only the business of the IS propagandists that is caused by premature excitement? The IS has repeatedly claimed the Amaq, but there are some doubts about the truth.
Usually the triumphal message by Amaq follows quite quickly, but this time it took two weeks. In addition, the message, which has been spread in English and Arabic, contains only vague statements and no perpetrators' knowledge, on the contrary, it even contains a conspicuous mistake: not two people were stabbed in Hamburg as they say, but one. The experts are accordingly cautious with the pronouncement.
The authenticity of the report is examined, reported on Sunday afternoon a spokeswoman of the Hamburg police. The murder commission still determines in all directions. The state authorities are now in the process, the specialists met on Sunday to discuss the situation, in the background, the federal prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe examines whether they want to take over the lead.
The Terrormiliz does not "go on the glue"
Hamburg's police have been tapping in the dark, the case is considered mysterious. The young couple sat on the steps below the bridge that Sunday night, when the knife stabbed his victim fatally against 10 o'clock and forced his girlfriend into the Alster. Afterwards, he apparently fled over a trail towards the road on the shore. During the day and in the early evening, the surroundings are surrounded by walks and joggers. Except for the 15-year-old survivors, there were no witnesses.
The youngsters could describe the attacker. He was between 23 and 25 years old and 1.80 to 1.90 meters tall, had dark hair and a three-beard, had jeans and a brown sweater worn and had been of a southern appearance. Investigators investigated the action later, a weapon seems not to have been found despite the search for divers.
Hamburg's police warned of "speculation", also the Hamburg constitutional protection spokesman Marco Haase only explained that the new indications of course, as usual in such cases. However, nobody should fall into hysteria and the terrormiliz "go on the glue". The targeted instrumentalization of the media is part of the tactics of the IS, in order to make the population insecure, media are a means for the group to multiply their threatening messages. One would take note of the Amaq message, "professionally do our work, but do not let us drift".
What follows is the now well-practiced formula in moments of dreary sight, if there is still no reason for new worries, but as always no one to beautify. The threat to Germany and thus also to Hamburg was unchanged. For years Germany has been the focus of Islamic terrorists, not just since yesterday. The strategy also includes propagating propaganda through the social networks - "and that which was actually or supposedly inspired by these terrorists." Hamburg has a comparatively large, well-organized Islamic scene. At the beginning of October, the Landesamt für Verfassungsschutz counted 640 persons to the salafist scene, with the largest number accounted for by young men between the ages of 22 and 34. Since 2014 38 people have moved to Syria or Iraq.
